Privacy Policy

The short version

VoiceFast processes your voice recordings to convert them into text. Audio is sent to our API, transcribed using Groq's Whisper model, enhanced with AI, and returned as text. We do not store your audio recordings or transcriptions.

What we collect

If you create an account or purchase a plan, we store your email address, plan information, and payment details (processed by Stripe). We also track aggregate usage counts (word count and number of transcriptions) to enforce plan limits. We do not store the content of your transcriptions.

How the extension works

When you click the VoiceFast button and speak, your browser records audio locally. When you stop, the audio is sent to our Cloudflare Worker API, which forwards it to Groq for transcription and AI enhancement. The resulting text is returned to your browser and inserted where your cursor is. Audio is never saved — it's processed in memory and discarded.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in. The extension reads this cookie to authenticate API requests. No tracking cookies, no analytics cookies, no third-party cookies.

Third parties

We use Stripe for payments, Neon for our database, Groq for AI transcription and text processing, and Cloudflare for our API infrastructure. Each has their own privacy policy. We don't sell or share your personal data with anyone else.
